How to export weight data from Apple Health

  1. On your iPhone, open the Health app.
  2. Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Export All Health Data.
  4. Confirm the export. Preparing the archive can take a few minutes — the phone needs to stay unlocked.
  5. When prompted, choose where to send the resulting export.zip (AirDrop to your Mac, Save to Files, email it to yourself, etc.).
  6. Back here, click Import from Apple Health… and pick that export.zip. No need to unzip it first.
Tip: the zip can be hundreds of megabytes because it contains every health record you've ever logged. The import streams the file so it doesn't load the whole thing into memory, but it can still take a minute on big exports. Weight values stored in kilograms are automatically converted to pounds; if you prefer kilograms, change the conversion in the script and re-import.
